The weather of autumn is unpredictable, as we all know. Although it can be sunny during the day, early mornings and evenings can be really chilly. So, you might be wondering how to go about that whole outerwear situation during this transitional season. 

Coats can be worn also when temperatures drop more, trench and cory jackets are all good options, but if you are looking to elevate your autumn style– a cape coat that will make you look stylish and have a statement autumn clothing piece. 

They are sophisticated and polished, and also far easier to wear than you might think. Just like I have my favorite Susanne Spatt cape.

The key is selecting a cape that has a similar aesthetic to your usual outerwear, whether you like darker-cold colors, warm autumn colors, double-breasted jackets etc. A black, navy, tan or winter white cape coat goes with anything, but you could also try out a bold colorway or unexpected print.
