Trends come and go, but equestrian style will always remain sophisticated, chic and timeless. You don’t need to be a rider to pull this style off. So if you are looking to add an equestrian touch to your closet, you are in the right place.
Here I want to share some tips for great ways to work equestrian style into your everyday wardrobe:
THE LEATHER BOOTS
The equestrian style starts with the classic leather boots, and the easy way to add this style into your everyday attire. Whether flat or with a mini heel, they will look great as long as they are comfortable and versatile. Wearing them with riding pants, leggings, dress, or even skinny jeans— you’ll nail the equestrian style immediately. Pair them with a chic blouse, and a fabulous blazer to transition seamlessly from day to evening.
THE TAILORED BLAZER
A plaid tailored blazer is great to wear all day! It’s stylish, warm and comfortable to wear from office to afterwork drinks. Here, I am wearing the Susanne Spatt jacket from “Black Watch” collection. It has a great fitted cut that is flattering to any body shape.
THE WHITE BLOUSE
A wardrobe must-have, is a white cotton blouse with ruffled lace along the collar and neckline. I love Susanne Spatt’s classic white blouses, which are super versatile to wear with different looks.
THE RIDING PANTS
I always loved wearing riding pants for everyday, especially in fall or spring. They are tight-fitting trousers that reach to the ankle, where they end in a snug cuff, and are worn primarily for horse riding. They look best paired with knee high boots.
ACCESSORIES
From stylish hats to beautiful chic leather belts, you can always accessorise the equestrian style with leather accessories, such as a pretty elegant bag, leather & chain bracelets, earrings, classic pocket square, gloves as well as beautiful wool hats.
