My educational background in Linguistics and Communication Science taught me to give talks, write articles, papers and proposals, communicate with a variety of audiences, and educate others. We all communicate with others not only by face-to-face communication, but also by giving information via telephone or Internet. Many people believe that the significance of communication is like the importance of breathing.
Indeed, communication forms relationships between people. It helps us to express our ideas and feelings, and it, at the same time, helps us to understand emotion and thoughts of others. Every day, we communicate with a lot of people including our families, our friends, our colleagues, or even strangers. Being in a long-distance relationship, makes a good communication even more important in our everyday life and it’s an essential part of our healthy relationship. We all have ups and downs, but a healthy communication can make it easier to deal with misunderstandings, conflict, and build a stronger and healthier partnership.
Talk to each other, no matter how well you know and love each other, you cannot read your partner’s mind. We need to communicate clearly to avoid misunderstandings that may cause hurt, anger, resentment or confusion. Call your partner and listen carefully. Put aside your own thoughts for the time being and try to understand their intentions, feelings, needs and wants. I am lucky to have someone in my life, with whom I can share all feelings. We talk about what is happening and how it affects us. Always show genuine attention and interest, and make sure that each other’s feelings are important for us. Sharing experiences, interests and concerns with your partner, and showing affection and appreciation is very important too.
By now, pretty much everyone has a mobile phone and many people have two or more. While they are a lifesaver in an emergency, and an effective tool for communication and nourish your relationships, partnerships and friendships.
Last Sunday I met Tony for coffee, cake & convo. As we are both very busy, we cannot meet so often, but if we do than we spend couple of hours of laughing, telling sarcastic jokes, planing our next projects and create amazing shootings as well. So, we were talking about the HUAWEI nova smartphones and tested the camera and all. The nova is a 5-inch Android smartphone with sleek looks and a compact metal body that easily slips into the pocket of your jeans. HUAWEI packed the nova with solid tech, though its bigger brother, the nova Plus, is slightly more high spec.
Since the P9, I knew that HUAWEI’s cameras are the best. The nova shows it wasn’t a windfall that the P9 had such a great camera. The rear cam has 12-megapixels and more importantly, a 1.25 micrometer pixel size. The nova at a landscape and it takes sharp, and colorful pictures.
One of the most important thing is that, the nova’s battery life is excellent. Although it has a 3,040mAh battery, it’s driving a relatively small screen at 1080p, so it lasts longer than you may expect. HUAWEI says two days of regular use should be achievable on the nova, and we had the same experience. That’s pretty good for a small smartphone. So, keep communicating and choose the best quality smartphone that brings you closer to your loved ones!
