A breathtaking view over the city, minimalist interior and cutting-edge technology, Vienna’s most modern and stylish hotel – with high class facilities and numerous additional services
As promised, this is the part two of the Hotel Meliá Vienna shooting, where I had the chance to sleepover on my birthday night two weeks ago. First I showed you the insights from the premium suite, now more about the architecture and interior of Hotel Meliá Vienna and the splendid rooftop restaurant 57Meliá.
To enjoy a great choice of delicious international dishes with Mediterranean touch, you have to visit Hotel Melia‘s restaurant on the 57th floor. A range of excellent wines out of a wide selection of Austrian and Spanish wines. The 220 meters and 58 floor building is Austria’s tallest skyscraper located at the northern banks of the Danube river that runs through Vienna. Project tasks included the lighting for all public areas such as the reception, the ballroom and the restaurant & lounge at level 57 and 58 as well as “the Feature Wall” as a piece of artwork at the lobby.
The architect on this project was Dominique Perrault Architecture. The interior design for the Hotel Meliá Vienna was created by Jabornegg & Pálffy Architekten. Cutting-edge technology re-quires innovative IPTV for the DC-Tower The floors consist of 253 exquisite and most fashionably equipped rooms and suites.
I want to thank Chris Ecker, for realizing this amazing shooting. I was very happy to see the results and surely in a place like Hotel Meliá Vienna, it wasn’t difficult to capture all these beautiful images.
Continue into the night after dinner in the 57 restaurant in the highest hot spot in Austria (220m) in the rooftop bar. Try best signature cocktails, explore the wide variety of gins and dance to the beats of DJs at the weekend.
