My visit to London was filled with beautiful moments, and one highlight was dining at one of the city’s most renowned private members’ clubs. My friend booked a table for three, and we enjoyed an exquisite dinner at The Arts Club—an institution founded in 1863 by literary and artistic greats such as Charles Dickens, Anthony Trollope, and Lord Leighton.
Nestled in the heart of London, The Arts Club offers its members a refined dining experience, featuring an exquisite menu of light yet flavorful dishes crafted from the finest seasonal ingredients. Accompanied by expertly crafted cocktails, fine wines, and live music, the ambiance is nothing short of exceptional.
The club is known for attracting high-profile figures, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Cattrall, and Ronnie Wood. While we didn’t spot any celebrities that evening, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
For starters, we indulged in a variety of salads, including the “Quinoa Salad with Herbs,” “Endive Salad with Gorgonzola & Candied Walnuts,” and “Mixed Leaf Salad with Manchego”—each one a delightful balance of flavors. As a main course, I savored the “Veal Chop with Rosemary Crust,” which was cooked to perfection. I can also highly recommend the “Roast Duck Breast with Seared Foie Gras, Mango Chutney & Seven Spice Sauce”—a dish that masterfully combined rich textures and bold flavors.
