Lacoste celebrated two weeks ago its Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle new fragrances in a perfect location at Tennis de la Cavalerie in Paris
Exactly two weeks ago, I was invited by Lacoste to celebrate the launch of three new fragrances Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle in Paris. How wonderful it was to go back to my favorite city, even though it was only for two days but, oh that two days were just unforgettable!
Apart from this that I met wonderful people, amongst all international editors, bloggers, PR agents, as well as the locations I’ve been to and Lacoste as host made my stay in Paris to enjoy every single second. For the first time, I was most active on Snapchat (username: disicouture) and showed everything I did during my time in Paris and also made lots of videos. I’m sorry for you, if you’ve missed this part! 🙂 However, I will try to share some of the moments I had during the celebration and also the fragrance presentation we had next day after the dinner event.
On Tuesday, 2nd of February, I arrived in Paris and was picked up by a personal driver, who drove me to the the Hotel de Sers. A beautiful boutique hotel located right in the corner of the Avenue George V. When all invited guests arrived, our first get-together with the Lacoste team was a lunch meeting at the hotel’s restaurant Patio Terrace. We had a great lunch and my smoked salmon salad was beyond delicious. After the lunch, we had approximately two hours to get ready for the dinner event at Tennis de la Cavalerie.
All the excitement for not knowing, how the event will be and what will happen later, it was kind of a great feeling. We all arrived to the location around 6:30 pm, when the event kicked off in the legendary club Tennis de la Cavalerie. This tennis club is located at 7th floor in an art deco building built in 1924 by the famous architect R. Farradèche; located on the border of the 15th and the 7th arrondissement, on the site of the military school between Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero gardens, it boasts a breathtaking view to the Eiffel Tower (see the photo here). I could not help but sending snapshots, videos for my snapchat and also taking lots of photos for you to give a glimpse to the event. First we were sent to the changing room, to learn more about the Lacoste history. A very authentic room, where everything looked old in wood furniture and small wardrobes. We learned about beautiful Lacoste history, including woman in tennis being independent and active in public. The real wow-effect was seeing this beautiful decorated long table by Betak Bureau, from one of my favorite creative agencies I know so far.
The dinner event started with a selection of very creative finger food and after a very delicious three course menu.
The starter, the main course and the white chocolate ball was freaking delicious. After the desert, we were inrtoduced to the new three Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle. The white bottle represents elegance, the green is the bottle of natural and fresh fragrance, thus the pink represents the bottle of sparkling and sweet scent. Three different colors, three different scents and each edition represents a different mood of the Lacoste woman. My favorite scents are the white and the green. Both are very nice for daily use, soft to elegant notes give unique happiness.

After the launch event all invited guests, where invited to perfume workshop next day. We went though all detail information about mood-lifting, authentic and warm scents of Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle.
The collection is inspired by Lacoste pleated tennis skirts and consists of three fragrances.
The green: Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Natural is a fragrance that is mood-lifting, authentic and warm. Its fruity start of pineapple, raspberry leaf and mandarin leads to the heart of woody, powdery orris root along with jasmine and rose. A warm coconut note is combined with sandalwood and amber.
The white: Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Elegant is announced as a classic scent for a self-confident woman, always fresh and relevant. Citrus oils, cassis bud and pink pepper start the composition brightly; Elegant is toned-down by the heart of mimosa which provides softness and femininity together with violet and lily of the valley. Vetiver in the base creates a warm sensuality and an edgy signature that is complemented by notes of vanilla and heliotrope.
The pink: Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Sparkling is a cute, cheerful and playful fragrance with a “French signature”. The heart of the composition contains a French macaroon accord along with cotton candy and lily of the valley. Fruity notes of mandarin, red apple and blackberry open the composition together with some spices. Sophisticated notes of patchouli, vetiver, cashmere and musk complete the base.The fragrances are available as 90 ml Eaux de Toilette.
Last but not least, we were invited to Lacoste VIP showroom for an exclusive shopping tour. I choose the polo shirt you see above, a wonderful sweater and a beautiful top from the RTW collection. Moreover, it wasn’t easy to choose my favorite pieces, because I could have take the half of the store home! 🙂
