Why is it that summers always flies by so fast? I came back to Vienna last week and the first days felt like I was going to another batch of “back to school” entitled emails the other day. I hardly accept that it’s the end of August and summer is drawing to an end, and fall is approaching so fast. Can you believe it? I know I definitely can’t!
Though I love autumn and there are great things about autumn season, however something about summer ending – always gets me a little blue. However, what keeps me happy is that I am planing another wonderful trip, that keeps me motivated and to look forward to September.
This is my last post from Florence, where you can see the city during early morning hours, when the water was quite unruffled with a grand and majestic motion. At sunrise everything is luminous, fresh and quiet. Silia and I loved waking up with birds, getting ready quickly and walk to Ponte Vecchio. This is how you get to see the city in a complete different way, without being disturbed from the tourists who try to take the perfect Instagram photo.
The streets were getting cleaned, the local Cafe’s open their doors and we were the first guest who orders prima colazione with caffè latte & panino. Our first stop of the day was of course our favorite Caffè Gilli and than we continued the strolling around the magnificent Florence until sunset.
