The secret to nail the layering style is to choose clever pieces that can be worn when it gets colder in the morning and evening, as well as wear a piece that you can leave in the office, when you go out for lunch. A light silk shirt and pants provide the perfect base, then layer with a soft knit and a blazer for a smart choice.

MIX AND MATCH

Although a slip dress is not so appropriate for the office, but if you wear it with a oversized cardigan and create wast with a belt, it’s also a sure-fire way to nail the on-to-off-duty style.

TIMELESS

If you want to keep it simple and timeless, give your work wardrobe a vintage feel with a pencil skirt, turtle neck and oversized cardigan. Pair it with chic pumps, a leather bag and pearl earrings.

BE PLAYFUL

Personally, I love to break the work outfit rules sometimes, and add more different cuts, prints and unique designs when it comes to dressing for 9-5 looks.
